WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?

Who would have thought that we would see the day when civilized American’s would slaughter some fifty five million babies while still in their mother’s womb’? Added to this unthinkable atrocity, Planned Parenthood is selling these precious gifts from God for body parts to the highest bidder. Who would have thought that America would support same sex marriage and redefine marriage to include two men or two women? Who would have thought we would live to see the day in which a person could have two mothers listed as their parents on their birth certificate?

Who would have dreamed that Christian colleges and universities would no longer consider same sex relationships as breaking their rules of conduct? Obviously they no longer consider plain old fornication wrong either.

One Christian college is now giving their students free condoms. Here is how Charisma reported it: “One recent example is the distribution of free condoms by Chicago Theological Seminary, an affiliate of the United Church of Christ (UCC). At last week’s 2015 Wild Goose Festivalattendees received condom packages designed with a colored image of a rainbow flame, an LGBT variation of the UCC’s logo.

Printed above the flame were instructions: "Chicago Theological Seminary, Take Two (For the second coming!)" The text blatantly suggests Jesus Christ’s second coming relates to one needing two condoms for multiple partners. In other words, a "Christian" seminary is likening the Second Coming of Christ to gay sex.”

We shouldn’t be surprised by these blatant acts of rebellion against God and His Word because we were warned that these days would come. The wonderful things about the Word of God is that not only does it inform us about the past but also warns us regarding things to come. Your Bible is more accurate and up to date than your evening news. Just take the gay issue for example. Jesus warned us that in the last days we would see times similar to those of Noah and Lot. ( Luke 17:26-30)

Allow me to refresh your memory regarding those days. Abraham’s nephew Lot, after separating from Abraham, made his way to Sodom where he settled and raised his family. Sodom’s sin eventually outgrew God’s patience and His judgment followed. God dispatched two angels to warn Lot about Sodom’s imminent judgment. When the two angels entered Lot’s home, the men of the city surrounded his house demanding Lot to turn over the two strangers for their own sexual pleasure. (Gen. 19:5) When Lot refused to hand them over they attempted to break his door down, determined to gratify their perverted passions. Not only were they refusing to recognize Lot’s rights but then went on to accuse Lot of judging them.

These seemingly insignificant details are essential to our understanding of what is still to come. The gay community will continue to force their way into our homes, schools, churches

and lives,
demanding their rights regardless of ours. They will accuse us of judging them, of being intolerant, bigoted, and unloving while at the same time reminding us that our God is a God of love and we are the real hypocrites.

There is no doubt in my mind that we are heading for increased ridicule and rejection; but also persecution if we refuse to go along with their agenda.

How long God’s patience will last, we can’t say, but if Sodom’s destruction was a sign of these last days, then His judgment must also be included in that. Could we see another more severe outbreak similar to aids? Possibly

Regardless, we need to heed the Spirit’s warning to flee from these things. “ Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate”, says the Lord. “ And do not touch what is unclean; and I will welcome you and I will be a father to you, and you will become sons and daughters to Me, Says the Lord Almighty.” (2 Cor.6:17-18) Failure to obey could result in disaster. “Remember Lot’s wife!”

Thanks David, I appreciate your convictions and truth, I have the same concerns, yet I see so much more in the church and the pulpit about accepting this sin because God is love and we don’t want to be hypocrites, we have our sins too, who are we to judge, remove the plank etc. Thank you for standing up for the truth, God help us in the next few years.
