    Dear Brother Ravenhill,
I am very happy to read these stories. It makes me glad to see that all is not lost, that there still are people reminding us that we have a mighty God. But.. and here is the big but…. I have been asking the Lord for a while now, how can this happen given the stat that the church is in today…. No church that I know of walks in the spirit anymore and when you talk about the gifts of the spirit, moving in the supernatural and that it should be happening and taught in the local church today, they look at you as if you’re weird? I have been praying about this for a long time. The local church is not ready or able to move in the supernatural… not in their current state, the present church, except for a remnant few, (your father was right) is too much after the world’s attractions, but with a Christian slant of course.
Then you have the escapees who want the rapture to happen yesterday. Where is the evangelicalism? They are running from their responsibilities. No work all play.

Most churches today are big social clubs, who keep running on the tread-wheel of life, barley looking up, while they try to keep up with the Jones. People are more concerned about meeting bills then meeting the unsaved. How can God get through to a people like that?

Could these visions people, like Tommy Hicks, have been seeing be talking about people who will be left after the rapture? The true church at that time will really need to walk and move in the supernatural. Will the millions to be saved be the ones who will be killed for their faith during this time?
    God bless
    Debbie Galpin/Baumgartner
